That is so great! It reminds me of the sort of thing my grandmother used to show us to keep us amused. She was a public school teacher who didn’t retire until she was 70 and then lived 27 more years!
I’ll bet a lot of teachers used these things as art lessons. (Dodd, Mead published a lot of textbooks, readers, etc.) There is something so charming about the way each drawing is composed from curves and lines and geometric shapes. Very Flatland:)
