The most-awesome Dianne of CraftLit/Knitty-2010-trip-fame pinged me with this early this morning and it was so lovely, I just had to share. This is a short film of Renate Hiller talking about the importance of handwork (spinning, knitting, etc.) in the modern world. Renate is the co-director of the Fiber Craft Studio at the Threefold Educational Center in Chestnut Ridge, NY. The film was uploaded in 2010.
