Our buddy Peter Sagal who you may know from NPR’s “Wait! Wait! Don’t Tell Me!” just started his blog/website.
He and his wife Beth (the fabulous) were neighbors of ours in Brooklyn and I count the day they told us they were moving to Chicago as both one of the sadder days of my life as well as the first step towards leaving Brooklyn ourselves. I mean, really…why stay?
Bookmark ‘im. He’s funny. And if you stop by, tell him I sent you. Otherwise he’ll wonder where all these knitters came from!
Oo, Peter Sagal! Lovely.
Heather, I was catching up on old issues, and “The Yellow Wallpaper” totally Creeped Me Out – and as you were talking about it beforehand, I realized I’d heard this before, on Sirius Radio Classics, done almost as a monologue by Agnes Moorehead! She was incredible. In fact, I couldn’t finish it because it was dark and I’d gotten home (the radio’s only in my car) and there was no way in hell I was sitting in my driveway with that wallpaper creeping around me, so….Thanks for the closure, because I never knew how it ended!
YEAH! I love Peter!
(and Erin…I agree, one of the creepiest ever.)
