If you used to visit here regularly, you may be wondering, “What in the sam hill has happened to that woman?!”
Well, in a nutshell:
- I wrote a book
- I edited a book
- I taught two upper division classes at the University
- I packed up a 2200 sq foot house to move into a 1200 sq foot apartment
- I had the kids with me while I did that (the DH was at the new job)
- I prepared to drive about 3000 miles to the new apartment
- I found a new home for our doggies (well… still working on that)
- I moved the kids and me into my Mom’s and shipped the furniture to VA
- I started promoting the book
- I wrote two eBooks
- I prepared to teach classes as I drove across the country with the kids
- I saw a couple of movies
- I knitted
- I painted
- I rarely slept.
The thing that kept getting pushed aside was blogging.
To try to amend that, however, I’m going to be audio-blogging from the road. I’ve started the pre-trip blogging and those files–plus all the new ones from the road, can be seen below. It’ll just have to do until I get to the new digs.
I’ll be testing ways to legitimately blog from the road, but my breath isn’t held. It was disastrous last time. Maybe technology has caught up to me by now.
Fingers crossed!
