So, so much has happened in the last month in my complete world (as opposed to my knitting world) that I needed to share\u2014since some of it may affect you, too.<\/p>\n

You’re invited whether\u00a0you read the book on your own or listened via CraftLit’s Premium Membership audio. We just wanna talk about the book!<\/p>\n

This Saturday, September 6th, 2014 at noon eastern\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>(calculate your time here<\/a>) Vanessa and I will be\u00a0hosting\u00a0at the first ever CraftLit book chat<\/a>!
\nWe tested the system at a new site (vokle.com) and were impressed by how easy it was to use.<\/p>\n

You can ask a question by video (in real-time) or a typed\u00a0question (in the little text box)\u2014and for our purposes, when the site says “ask a question” we really mean “ask a question\u00a0or share a comment<\/strong>” because y’all are going to want to answer each other’s questions, too.
\nIf this works, there will be more.
\nThere’s an\u00a0FAQ page for this site<\/a>, and this\u00a0handy and very important tip:<\/strong>\u00a0DO NOT forget your headphones.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0We all\u00a0risk wicked-painful feedback and\/or disorienting echo\u00a0when the mic is “handed to you” if you’re using your computer micAND<\/em>\u00a0computer speakers. Just normal ear buds will be fine. Anything but the speakers (same goes for Skype, too. You’ll be surprised at the improvement in the conversation).
