{"id":2509,"date":"2013-05-17T14:22:40","date_gmt":"2013-05-17T19:22:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/crafting-a-life.com\/mamaoknits\/?p=2509"},"modified":"2013-06-14T18:19:33","modified_gmt":"2013-06-14T23:19:33","slug":"cognitive-anchoring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crafting-a-life.com\/mamaoknits\/cognitive-anchoring\/","title":{"rendered":"Cognitive Anchoring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cognitive Anchoring is the thing I spoke about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.commoncod.com\/2013\/04\/06\/may-meeting-and-sock-heel-workshop-with-heather-ordover\/\">at MIT for the Common Cod Fiber Guild<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a term I had to make up because no one else had tied the pieces together in regards to knitting and how it affects the mind.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m working up a teaser for the talk to post here so if you, your guild, or your LYS would like to have me come speak\/teach, you&#8217;ll have something to point to. There&#8217;s been zero research into knitting itself but lots of research on the outskirts.
