Obviously, this all comes under the category of &#8220;stuff I liked,&#8221; but I&#8217;m kinda picky. And I cook a lot so I&#8217;ve tested many recipes. Some failures, many successes, but a few stand out&#8211;and those are what I&#8217;ll put here.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>French bread<\/strong>: Hands down, <a href=\"http:\/\/fireandsalt.blogspot.com\/2009\/03\/gluten-free-french-bread.html\">Fire and Salt&#8217;s<\/a> is the best. So good in fact, that my gluten-eating BIL asked me to bring more to Christmas after eating it at Thanksgiving.<br \/>\nThe key?<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B00004R91I\/?tag=crapofocrwhlo-20\">The pan<\/a>. You MUST get the pan. Use $18 of those Christmas dollars to make your GF life easier and tastier.<br \/>\nYou can begin thanking me now.<br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/crafting-a-life.com\/mamaoknits\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/20120101-101643.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crafting-a-life.com\/mamaoknits\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/20120101-101643.jpg\" alt=\"Gluten Free Baguette Pan\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Pan in question&#8211;I got mine at Bed, Bath, and Beyond (NAYY). No, the sticky batter doesn&#8217;t goop out through the holes. Dunno why. Just works.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Flour blend<\/strong>: There are a couple of winners here, but my personal fave is <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.julesglutenfree.com\">Jules<\/a>. I love her recipes; I love her attitude; I love her newsletter; I love supporting a small business. I also love her&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.julesglutenfree.com\/2011\/12\/cinnamon-sticky-rolls-oven-or-crock-pot-method\/\">Gluten Free Cinnamon Rolls<\/a><\/strong>: Once again, Jules wins. AND she gives you an option for an oven or Crock Pot cooking method.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other flour<\/strong>: King Arthur GF Flour. It&#8217;s as good a 1:1 substitute as you&#8217;ll find&#8230; better than most, but (as I said) I&#8217;m partial to Jules.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/crafting-a-life.com\/mamaoknits\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/20120101-100306.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crafting-a-life.com\/mamaoknits\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/20120101-100306.jpg\" alt=\"Gluten Free Cinnamon Rolls\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p> My Jules&#8217; GF Cinnamon Rolls&#8211;OMG&#8212;Heaven.
