{"id":1696,"date":"2011-05-22T23:00:46","date_gmt":"2011-05-23T06:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/crafting-a-life.com\/mamaoknits\/?p=1696"},"modified":"2011-06-17T00:18:22","modified_gmt":"2011-06-17T07:18:22","slug":"road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crafting-a-life.com\/mamaoknits\/road\/","title":{"rendered":"On the Road Again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you used to visit here regularly, you may be wondering, &#8220;What in the sam hill has happened to that woman?!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Well, in a nutshell:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> I wrote a book<\/li>\n<li> I <a href=\"http:\/\/wwmdfk.com\">edited a book<\/a><\/li>\n<li> I taught <a href=\"http:\/\/ordover.web.arizona.edu\">two upper division classes<\/a> at the University<\/li>\n<li> I packed up a 2200 sq foot house to move into a 1200 sq foot apartment<\/li>\n<li> I had the kids with me while I did that (the DH was at the new job)<\/li>\n<li> I prepared to drive about 3000 miles to the new apartment<\/li>\n<li> I found a new home for our doggies (well&#8230; still working on that)<\/li>\n<li> I moved the kids and me into my Mom&#8217;s and shipped the furniture to VA<\/li>\n<li> I started promoting the book<\/li>\n<li> I wrote <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/designers\/heather-ordover\">two eBooks<\/a><\/li>\n<li> I prepared to teach classes as I drove across the country with the kids<\/li>\n<li> I saw a couple of movies<\/li>\n<li> I knitted<\/li>\n<li> I painted<\/li>\n<li> I rarely slept.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The thing that kept getting pushed aside was blogging.<\/p>\n<p>To try to amend that, however, I&#8217;m going to be audio-blogging from the road. I&#8217;ve started the pre-trip blogging and those files&#8211;plus all the new ones from the road, can be seen below. It was disastrous last time.
